Early Childhood Education Sports Coach (soccer)

Popular children's sports program has an opening for a part-time coach. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who loves sports and teaching young children but doesn’t want to be a full time preschool teacher or be tied to an office desk. Pay ranges anywhere between $18-22 per class coached, with $18 as starting pay. We are looking for a leader with early childhood education experience who plays or has coached sports, preferably soccer.

Coaches will engage children from 18 months to 7 years of age in games that help improve their motor coordination, social, and sports skills. Classes are highly creative and full of energy, so be prepared to have fun! Our 40-50 minute classes follow an age appropriate curriculum teaching the sport through engaging games. They are held both mornings and afternoons throughout the week and on weekends. Coaches are expected to teach a combination of weekday and weekend classes.

All candidates should:

- Enjoy working with kids.
- Be energetic, outgoing and fun.
- have an understanding of soccer and/or basketball
- have CPR & First Aid certifications, or willingness to obtain them.
- be available to work weekday AND weekend shifts.

Super cool if you have these, but not required:

- have the necessary ECE credits to teach in a preschool setting
- are fluent in Spanish

If you are passionate about children and sports, this is a great position for you.

TO APPLY: Send your resume to jobs@sftots.com. Please add a quick note as to why you’re interested in coaching kids.
